Stephanie Jones, Office Manager Callahan Counseling Services welcomed Stephanie to our team in 2012. Stephanie has 12 years of experience as an office manager in the mental health field and serves our staff and clients with a wealth of knowledge in medical billing as well. Stephanie's warm smile and professionalism welcome our clients as they enter our door, and her efficiency and tenacity reflect our dedication to our clients' needs. In addition to her position here at Callahan Counseling Services, Stephanie is also the mother of five beautiful children.
Peter J. Callahan, LICSW, ADC-S, CCFC, ICADC is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, Licensed in West Virginia and Virginia. Peter is an Alcohol and Drug Counselor and is an active member of the WV Certification Board of Addiction and Prevention Professionals (WVCBAPP). Peter is also a Clinically Certified Forensics Counselor through the American College of Forensic Counselors. He has been appointed to the West Virginia School of Medicine as a Clinical Instructor.
Peter has developed numerous community-based programs and continues to work with local and state agencies. He sits on several state committees to improve the quality of care for those in need. Peter has worked with many schools in the area as well as with a variety of authors in the mental health and addictions field.
Peter has served on the West Virginia Certification Board of Addiction and Prevention Professionals (WVCBAPP) in many capacities, including, President, Treasurer, and Certification Chair. Peter has also served proudly on the International Certification & Reciprocity Committee (IC&RC) Board. The IC&RC is the oversiting body of the WVCBAPP. Peter served on the Executive Committee of the IC&RC Board as the Finance Chair member.

Dr. John Aldis, MD, MPH&TM. is a Family Practice physician living in Jefferson County. After graduation from the University of Kansas School of Medicine he completed his internship at Gorgas Hospital in the Panama Canal Zone before serving nine years on overseas tours in the U.S. Navy in the Philippines, Taiwan, and Guam and also completing his Family Practice Residency training in Jacksonville, FL, becoming board-certified in Family Medicine following that training. He then joined the U.S. Foreign Service and served 18 years as a U.S. Embassy physician on tours in Mali, Indonesia, Nigeria, and China as well as completing his Master’s Degree in Public Health and Tropical Medicine at the Tulane School of Public Health.
After moving back into his boyhood home in 2001, Dr. Aldis served ten years as the volunteer Medical Director for the Free Clinic in Ranson. He also worked five years in the vaccine research program at Fort Detrick, five years in a contract clinical research position for NIH, and one year in the Home Based Primary Care Program at the Martinsburg Veterans Administration Hospital.
While living in the Eastern Panhandle Dr. Aldis has become increasingly concerned about the problem of substance abuse (particularly heroin addiction), and he hopes to work collaboratively with counsellors and social workers in the area to provide care for patients with this and related medical problems. He holds an FDA waiver to prescribe buprenorphine (Suboxone) for patients who need this medication to treat heroin addiction.

Dr.Michael A. Gray, Ed.D. Dr. Gray had been in the mental health field for over 16 years and has provided psychosocial development services to at-risk youths, mental health support services to US military veteran population, psychotherapy and adult counseling with a primary focus of CBT and Reality therapies, and psychological testing. Dr. Gray utilizes multiple cognitive behavioral skill sets in treatment to improve client sucess in therapy. He has written extensively concerning spirituality and of its importance in recovery from substance abuse as well as for coping with mental illness issues. Susan Clark, AA, BS Susan joined the Callahan Counseling Services team in 2010 as a Parent Coach and Mentor, where she provided education, practical life skills, and support to families involved in the child protective system. Since that time, she has begun pursuing her ADC (Alcohol and Drug Counselor) Certification under the supervision of Peter Callahan, LICSW, ADC-S, CCFC, ICADC, and is currently overseeing the DUI Safety and Treatment Program at Callahan Counseling Services. Susan has almost 20 years experience working with the public and holds an AA in Legal Assistance from Hagerstown Business College and a BS from Towson State University in Sociology with a concentration in Criminal Justice.
Susan has been accepted into West Virginia University School of Social Work and is currently working towards her Master's Degree in Social Work.

Allison Keeney, BSW, LSW Allison is a licensed social worker who joined our team in 2013 as the Socially Necessary Services Coordinator. She has been serving the public for the past six years, 5 of which is specific to the social services field. Allison has held many positions in her career including serving as a community services student in the foster care system, a co-facilitator in an adult care facility, and a foster care coordinator. Her diverse experience brings a wealth of knowledge to her department and she has proven to be a great asset to the Callahan Counseling team.

Judy Ott, LSW Has been involved with helping families gain the knowledge and skills to live a better quality of life for many years. Judy came to Callahan Counseling Services affter she retired from West Virginia Depart of Health and Human Services.
Susan Callahan, BA Susan joined the Callahan Counseling Services team in 2013 as a Parent Coach and Mentor, where she provides education, practical life skills, and support to families involved in the child protective system. Prior to joining our team Susan had 23 years experience working with the public, most recently working with distressed homeowners to prevent foreclosure of their homes. She holds a BA from Shepherd University in Liberal Arts with a concentration in History and Art. Susan has been accepted into West Virginia University School of Social Work and is currently working towards her Master's Degree in Social Work.
Susan is the mother of three boys. She is an active member of the community where she holds seats on boards of the Shenandoah Women’s Center and the charitable organization, Saint Vincent DePaul Society. Susan also volunteers at Antietam National Battlefield in Sharpsburg, MD.
